The Telstra Smart Modem Gen 2 is the standard Telstra modem for NBN services. Its party trick is the built-in 4G backup: when the NBN line drops out, the modem keeps your network online over the mobile network until the line comes back.
- Automatic 4G backup keeps you online during NBN outages
- Suits Telstra NBN connections (FTTN / FTTC / HFC / FTTP)
- Wi-Fi for the whole home, plus Ethernet for fixed devices
- Ideal spare or replacement unit for a failed Telstra modem
